Darren had a planning conference with his company last week and I tagged along. My sister took all 4 kids and then after the dinner we met my sister and grabbed Taylor and India to spend the night at the hotel with us.
The hotel was gorgeous and had a great spa. Of course which I visited while Darren was in meetings. We loved our room, it was beautiful and 1200 square feet was plenty big for us! I am so grateful for the little getaway we had. And maybe next time I will leave all 4 kids and Darren and I will actually be alone! I know, I have issues:)
Here is our living room.

Fire station fun!
Noah and India both had field trips to different fire stations last week. They were great field trips and they both learned a lot of important imformation about fire safety.
Here is India waiting patiently for the firemen.
Future fire girl!
Noah got to lie down in the ambulance.
Putting out the fires!
Get ready, set,
GO!!!!
Noah got to do the sirens. He had such a great time.
I am so grateful for the firemen and women in our area. They are so wonderful and dedicated to their jobs and keeping us safe.

Halloween Fun
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays. It is also a really long day for me. This year Darren took the day off and spent it with us. After getting 4 kids ready, attending 3 Halloween parties, trying to find parking at the school, running errands, making dinner (ok, it was just pizza) and taking them all trick or treating, he now understands why I am so tired on Halloween night. I was very happy to have his help for the whole day.
It was pouring rain for the most of the day but thankfully it cleared up so no umbrella's were needed! It was a beautiful night. It started our foggy and then cleared up and we could see the stars.
Isn't she such a princess?!
We colored Noah's hair black to be a more authentic Harry Potter.
